AO Logistics has pushed ahead with their sustainability goals by acquiring 130 new electric vans for their home deliveries.
Fraikin have supplied the vans to AO's fleet in a contract hire arrangement after AO asked for their own drivers' input. The 3.5 tonne Mercedes Sprinter vans are being custom-made with a more comfortable interior for their staff.
The electric delivery vans will add to their growing electrified fleet, after acquiring 10 CNG tractor units. Managing Director David Ashwell said, "We're thrilled to welcome the new CNG vehicles into our UK trunking fleet and continue our successful partnership with Fraikin."
AO will continue to replace the diesel units in their commercial fleet if the agreements with Fraikin are successful.
